NEW CC&R ADMINISTRATOR APPOINTED
The EPGCHA Board has appointed Jill Waldron, of Waldron Management Services, as the association’s new CC&R Administrator.
With a background rich in Human Resources, Ms. Waldron brings a fresh, new approach to the administration of EPGCHA’s CC&Rs. Human Resource directors understand “following the process,” and documenting that process from start to finish.
The board looked at a number of candidates for our CC&R Administrator position – Jill Waldron was clearly the best choice. Jill understands that it is all about “the process.” She will work hard at identifying CC&R situations that are not to the community wide standard we strive to maintain. She will communicate those situations to the homeowners and to the board, and she will see the process through to the end.
“Jill is a great addition to our team, when our team clearly needed a new direction,” said Dan Richards, EPGCHA Board President. “We have properties and CC&R situations that have been neglected in our association. We have some catching up to do and Jill Waldron will help us do that.
“In the past, our board assumed ‘the process’ was being followed, when in fact it was not,” Richards says. “We will keep a tighter rein on our CC&R situation than we have previously – we have to,” he added.
Besides attending the association’s quarterly board meetings and annual meeting, Waldron will join the board’s monthly executive sessions. Jill attended the October quarterly meeting and was introduced to the homeowners in attendance.
“You have a beautiful community and the vast majority of the properties are well maintained,” Jill said. “I believe the processes you have in place are good ones; they just need to be carried out. I’ll work hard at seeing the process through and I look forward to working with the board and your association members,” she added.
Jill joined the EPGCHA team on November 1st. She has met with the board’s CC&R point person, Dianne Fischetti, and has begun digesting our vast CC&Rs. She will begin touring our community and administrating our CC&Rs later this month.
Regarding the CC&R’s, “from time to time, we come to a fork in the road,” says Richards. “We can take the low road and allow our CC&Rs to go unenforced, or we can take the high road and do all we can to keep our community wide standard at the level owners expected when they purchased their home. Jill will help us travel the high road.”
